• 26 short stories (including specific prayer requests) to educate people on how to pray strategically for Tunisia.

Tunisia, a long wedge of land between Algeria and Libya, has long been a gateway from the Mediterranean to the African continent. Christianity flourished in Tunisia during the fourth century A.D. Today, Islam permeates the heart of Tunisian culture. While Tunisia still has the problems of a developing country, the people seem generally content with their lives and Islamic traditions. Today's Tunisians are working to reconcile their Muslim heritage with their reputation as one of the Arab world's most progressive countries, especially in the areas of education and freedom for women.

The stories of this prayer guide are chosen to paint a colorful picture of life in Tunisia, much as the bright tiles fit together to adorn typical Tunisian homes and buildings. Our hope is that, through your prayers, God will again call together a flourishing, united body of followers of Jesus in Tunisia. We especially want to recognize the things God is doing among the national believers in Tunisia and pray for God to strengthen their faith as they grow together in maturity and numbers.
